My name is Dan Davies, MD

I am an advanced imaging cardiologist, researcher, and speaker. I am passionate about taking care of patients in my clinic and across the world by providing individualized care and advancing the field of cardiovascular science. I have experience speaking to patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals all across the globe as an advocate and educator to with a goal of improving the recognition, diagnosis, and management of heart disease.

Fellowship

Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging

Mayo Clinic - Rochester, MN

2-year multimodality cardiovascular imaging fellowship performed at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN in the Departments of Cardiovascular Medicine and Radiology. Training included echocardiography (TTE, TEE, stress, intraoperative and interventional echo), cardiac MRI (parametric mapping, 4D flow, stress), cardiac CT (structural, congenital, CT-FFR), and nuclear imaging (myocardial perfusion [SPECT, PET], viability, FDG-PET, Tc-PYP/HMDP). 

2020 - 2023

Fellowship
Cardiovascular Medicine

Mayo Clinic - Rochester, MN

3-year clinical fellowship in general cardiovascular medicine performed at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Training included clinic and hospital-based patient care, cardiac critical care, non-invasive and invasive diagnostic testing. This program overlapped with the advanced fellowship in cardiovascular imaging.

2017 - 2020

Residency

Internal Medicine

Mayo Clinic - Rochester, MN

3-year clinical residency in internal medicine performed at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Training included the care of clinic, hospital, and critical care-based adult patients in general internal medicine and medicine sub-specialities.

2013 - 2017

Medical School

University of South Dakota

4-year medical education performed at Sanford School of Medicine at the University of South Dakota. This education included the basis of human anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology of disease, and an introduction to the care of patients.
